Thanks for joining in this project - to make a 30 second promo for 2MBSFM Fine Music Sydney, to screen at the Orpheum Cinema in Cremorne.

THE PROMO SCRIPT:

The promo says 2MBS has been broadcasting fine music for over 50 years.

But is anyone listening??

Then a rapid mix of people answer:  Yes!

It ends with a presenter in the studio taking a slightly embarrassed bow, while everyone claps, multiple images on the cinema screen.

 

WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO

1  Please use your phone to film yourself listening to music, then look at the camera and say: ‘I’m listening!’ 

2  Then another shot - film yourself clapping for ten seconds, as if you are applauding a performance that has just finished.

3 Smile and look as if you are enjoying the music!

 

• Your phone should be held horizontally - landscape - for the cinema screen

• Please wear headphones/AirPods or have radio/computer/phone in background to suggest listening to music (we add music later)

• Record yourself solo, or with others ‘We’re listening!’ or show us someone else who’s listening: ‘She’s listening! They're listening!'

• You can be lying down, jogging, in bed, at work, in the car, washing up, on the bus, rehearsing/playing an instrument, cleaning your teeth, on the beach, watching sport, whatever you would like

• The 2 setups - listening and clapping - should be recorded at same place/time/outfit so you match

• Aim for 5 secs I’m listening plus separate shot 10 secs of clapping (that's a lot of clapping)
